Approximately 150-200 Square Feet per Gallon depending on surface conditions and application methods.

Apply with an airless spray, or brush & roller. On new surfaces, 2 coats are recommended. On old surfaces, 1 or 2 coats is recommended. Clean-up with warm soapy water. Only use in favorably dry weather condition above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply correct type of primer depending on the type of surface.

Recoat: 24 Hours

Dry times and recoat times are temperature, humidity and film thickness dependent. The above dry times are based on 77 °F or 25 °C (ASTM D 1640).

5 Gallon Container

STOPWATER 8888™ should be used only on firm, dry, clean and fully cured surfaces. Surfaces need to be free from loose, peeling, dusty, chalky, grease, oil, lime, salts, efflorescence and dirt. Before application remove all loose, flaking, or chipping paint by washing, sanding, wire brushing, and/or high-pressure washing.

Repair all larger abrasions, cracks, holes and other imperfections with appropriate patching compounds. Will fill smaller cracks and holes with no need to fill before application. Dull all glossy surfaces for proper adhesion through sanding or other appropriate means.

This coating is intended to be applied without thinning or diluting.

Always wear an appropriate respirator equipment when spraying. If you experience difficulty breathing, leave the area immediately to obtain fresh air. If persists seek immediate medical attention.

If you have eye contact flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Avoid prolonged skin contact. Wash paint from your skin with soap and water. Replace lid on container tightly after each use.

CAUTION! Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. Protect from elements and from temperatures above 110 °F.  Close container tightly when not in use.

Keep out of reach of children: Avoid prolonged contact with skin.

SCMFG CORPORATION warrants your complete satisfaction with this product from defect as long as you own or reside in your residence when our product has been applied and maintained according to exact label directions.

We do not warrant problems with the product which are caused by factors beyond our control, such as structural defects, damage to the paint film by others, poor condition of the substrate, improper application, etc.

If not satisfied as warranted, return the unused portion, as well as a sales receipt to the place of purchase. You will receive as your exclusive remedy either from a refund of the price paid for the product, or replacement with a product of equal value.

This product warranty specifically excludes labor or cost of labor for the application of any paint and consequential, incidental damages. However, the warranty is only valid if applied by a Shane Coatings™ certified technician.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential or incidental damages, so the limitation or exclusion contained in the above warranty may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
