Product Description :

ELASTO-SEAL/BOND-KOTE 260™ Premium Primer Bonder is an innovative exterior coating product with advanced anchoring chemistry. This specially formulated exterior primer sealer provides the strongest adhesion for top coats on most exterior hard porous surfaces.

Acts as a sealing agent that neutralizes pH hot spots and retards efflorescence (a powdery crust) and spalling (surface deterioration).

ELASTO-SEAL/BOND-KOTE 260™ features superior bonding for acrylic, elastomeric, and related synthetic products (paint and synthetic stucco).

Elastomeric Sealer Bonder is a clear elastomeric penetrating sealer/bonder. It promotes a uniform cure by penetrating, sealing, hardening, and dust-proofing porous surfaces.

Dries to a clear chemically neutral, hard and non-tacky surface with moisture and water resistance.

Application Coverage:

Approximately 95-110 Square Feet per Gallon (depending on surface conditions and application methods).
Application Instructions:

Apply with an airless spray, or brush & roller. On new and old surfaces 1 coat is recommended.

Clean-up with warm soapy water. Only use in favorably dry weather condition above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply correct type of primer depending on the type of surface.
Average Dry Time:

To Touch: 1-2 Hours

Recoat: 4-6 Hours

Surface Preparation:

ELASTO-SEAL/BOND-KOTE 260™ should be used only on a firm, dry, clean and fully cured surfaces. Surfaces need to be free from loose, peeling, dusty, chalky, grease, oil, lime, salts, efflorescence and dirt. Before application remove all loose, flaking, or chipping paint by washing, sanding, wire brushing, and/or high-pressure washing.

Repair all larger abrasions, cracks, holes and other imperfections with appropriate patching compounds. Will fill smaller cracks and holes with no need to fill before application. Dull all glossy surfaces for proper adhesion through sanding or other appropriate means.
Thinning Recommendation:

This coating is intended to be applied without thinning or diluting under normal environmental and application conditions. If necessary to maintain good workability add up to ¼ pint (4 fl. oz.) of clean water per gallon of paint.
Health & Safety:

Use in a well-ventilated area. Always wear appropriate respirator equipment when spraying any material. If you experience difficulty breathing, leave the area immediately to obtain fresh air. If persists seek immediate medical attention.
In Case of Eye Contact:

Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash paint from your skin with soap and water. Replace lid on container tightly after each use.
Storage:

CAUTION! Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. Protect from elements and from temperatures above 110 °F. Close container tightly when not in use.

SCMFG CORPORATION warrants your complete satisfaction with this product from defect as long as you own or reside in your residence when our product has been applied and maintained according to exact label directions.

We do not warrant problems with the product which are caused by factors beyond our control, such as structural defects, damage to the paint film by others, poor condition of the substrate, improper application, etc.

If not satisfied as warranted, return the unused portion, as well as a sales receipt to the place of purchase. You will receive as your exclusive remedy either from a refund of the price paid for the product, or replacement with a product of equal value.

This product warranty specifically excludes labor or cost of labor for the application of any paint and consequential, incidental damages. However, the warranty is only valid if applied by a Shane Coatings™ certified technician.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential or incidental damages, so the limitation or exclusion contained in the above warranty may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.

I acknowledge color matching technology from Shane Coatings (and any other paint manufacture) will always be an approximation and not a guarantee of an exact match to the color sample I possess and am sending Shane Coatings for matching.

We provide custom color matching and can match any color as long as you provide us one of three things below:

  1. The EXACT color name from any fan deck, and the manufacturer name such as Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc.
  2. The exact color code from a color chip sample either online or in a fan deck.
  3. If you do not have your color chosen yet you can skip this step and check the box above that says “I Don’t Know My Color Yet”.

After placing your order you can then send your chosen color to colors@shanecoatings.com

We will not ship your order until we have received a color from you. If you do not wish to have a color match simply notify us of that and we can ship your product with no color mixing or tinting.

Please Read Carefully on the Factors Affecting Color Samples:

  1. Color chips and color samples are affected by light, age, heat, and other factors.
  2. On-screen and printer color representations may vary from actual paint colors due to differences in monitor calibrations and printer variations.

Other Factors Affecting Color of a Finish Coating:

The texture, porosity, prior color of the substrate, lighting, as well as other influences may alter the appearance of the applied coating. Shane Coatings make no warranty as to the exact duplication of color and finish on color chips, and/or color samples you see on a desktop computer screen or mobile device.

Therefore the color and finish of the actual paint in the container we deliver to you may vary slightly from the appearance of a corresponding color chip in a fan deck or from the colors you see on your computer or mobile device screen. You must check the box indicating you accept these terms before you can continue checking out.
