LOCK-PRIME™ 24 should be used only on surfaces that have been fully cured, clean, dry, and free from – dirt, dust, rust, stains, grease, mildew, wax, oil, efflorescence, bond-breakers and other contaminants.

Remove all loose, peeling or chalky paint by:

Scraping, Sanding, Sandblasting or other appropriate methods.

Repair all cracks, holes and other surface imperfections with a suitable patching material.

Repaired surfaces should then be sanded and wiped down mineral spirits. Glossy surfaces should be dulled to a profiled surface for superior adhesion.

Designed to be applied by airless spray, brush or roller.

On new surfaces, 2 coats are recommended. On old surfaces, 1 coat is recommended.

TEMPERATURE: 50° F minimum, 90° F maximum (air, surface, and material). Surface temperature must be at least 5° F above the dew point.

Clean with warm, soapy water.

This coating is intended to be applied without thinning or diluting under normal environmental and application conditions.

If necessary, to maintain good workability, add up to 1/8 pint (2 fl. oz.) of clean water per gallon of coating.

Use in a well-ventilated area.

Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash paint from your skin with soap and water. Replace lid on container tightly after each use.

CAUTION! Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry area off the ground and out of direct sunlight. Protect from freezing. Protect from temperatures above 110ºF for extended periods of time. Caution, extreme temperatures may cause paint to become unusable. Close container tightly when not in use.

SCMFG CORPORATION warrants your complete satisfaction with this product from defect as long as you own or reside in your residence when our product has been applied and maintained according to exact label directions.

We do not warrant problems with the product which are caused by factors beyond our control, such as structural defects, damage to the paint film by others, poor condition of the substrate, improper application, etc.

If not satisfied as warranted, return the unused portion, as well as a sales receipt to the place of purchase. You will receive as your exclusive remedy either from a refund of the price paid for the product, or replacement with a product of equal value.

This product warranty specifically excludes labor or cost of labor for the application of any paint and consequential, incidental damages. However, the warranty is only valid if applied by a Shane Coatings™ certified technician.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential or incidental damages, so the limitation or exclusion contained in the above warranty may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
